lovehotel is screening at the Culturecentre Schlachthof in Bremen, Germany, a videoprogramm `heiße Drähte, kühle Medien´, in cooperation with Dok-Filmfest, Kassel, November 2001

lovehotel has been shown as part of various lectures, at locations including the Stanford Digital Arts Centre, the Art Galley of NSW, COFA and QUT.

touring


European Media Art Festival video compilation tour -- starting in August 2001 to around +/- 20 cities and venues in Germany and at international venues including those in Beijing, Auckland, Christchurch, Toulouse and Belgrade. The tour is regular booked through the German cultural Goethe-Institutes.

lovehotel has been added to the Viper Video gallery: a small international selection of 25-35 pieces from the recent experimental video-and filmwork will circulate in the chosen network of related festivals. The gallery started touring in May 2001. The VideoGallery can be seen at the following festivals: EMAF, European Media Art Festival, Osnabrueck, Germany; L'immagine leggera, International Film and Video Art Festival, Palermo, Italy; International Festival of New Film and Video, Split, Croatia; Impakt Festival for audiovisual arts, Utrecht, The Netherlands; VIPER, Basel, Switzerland; OfflineOnline media art festival, Pärnu/Tallin, Estonia.

lovehotel is screening in Desktop Icons, a two part touring programme bringing together works by Scottish and international artists exploring issues of popular culture, media and new technologies. The curator Iliyana Nedkova at Media Scotland is showing the programme in selected venues across Scotland and England including Centre for Contemporary Art, Glasgow; Foundation for Art and Creative Technology, Liverpool; Lighthouse, Brighton; National Museum of Photography, Film & Television, Bradford; Institute of Contemporary Art, London and Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead.

lovehotel is part of Kathy Rae Huffman¹s United States touring programme for Video Data Bank, Chicago, called E-(d)entity, which features moving image work by women that examines how the cyber environment affects, expands, confuses and defines female identity. It launched at the MCA in Chicago in April 2002.
